Schritt, Trab, Galopp, 2023 (Installation View)

In the sculpture series "Step, Trot, Gallop", the clay was applied layer by layer using 3D printing. The porcelain objects take horseshoes as their initial form, however, their materiality and coloring reminds more of plastic. The porcelain material also affects the functionality of the object and therefore detaches it from its original purpose. Positioned with handmade aluminum nails that resemble horseshoe nails, the objects are placed as sculpture next to the window and like "horseshoes" as decorative room elements on the walls. As a result, nostalgia and humor interweave in this work and become part of a playful search for material and form.
