The melody is coming home again, 2022 (Installation View)
The objects resemble beehives and are a symbol of the silence and tranquillity in the Corona Lock - down. They symbolize the waiting for the return of everyday life. The objects are hung on 5 metal rods with black ball chains. The metal rods form a staff from which the objects hang like notes and show a melody. We wait for the movement and melody in everyday life to return and life as a community to begin. The installation is enhanced through integrating bird sounds and a melody of nature. The installation plays with the vital perception of sound and the observation of the silent objects in the indoor space.
